So the new “album” is finished and the usual negative feelings that come with the downer after completing a project are present. Just need to design an album sleeve, but I am out of ideas. It’s always the hardest part. Misery and woe. Boo hoo hoo….

And so all the strands come together…’tis the endgame. The insurance company want to settle early rather than stumping up 12 months of Business Interruption payments. The ball is in their court. How much will they offer and will we accept? We don’t have a choice and I still have to pay my own loss assessor £13k
I guess you could call this my anti-war song, except there’s no words. The eastern flavour and staccato, almost bolero beats, put in mind fighter jets firing on Baghdad and bombs going off left, right and centre. Glaciers and tectonic plates move faster than insurance companies. Final settlement for building work is three/four months overdue. Creditors making bad noises. Insurers say: “Payment will be in a fortnight”. Time passes, fortnight comes and goes. I hassle them again. They say: “It’s just gone on the system today – you shall get it in a week or so…” And so the dance of life continues…
