Comparing to earlier bits I’ve heard you’ve come a long way as a vocalist, this is frankly actually listeneable. (comparing to the old Way It Is for instance *wince*)
This take still sounds somewhat like a guy singing in front of his computer in his living room, still holding back a bit, so keep working on it, I’d say.
And the guitar! That’s some serious shredding, dude! 😀 I’ve criticised your lead work but this time around what you’re going for is 100% spot on! The sound is great and I was suprised to hear this sort of nimble finger stuff, good melody and busy enough to keep it intresting and still no excess wankery.
Technically there are some tripplets where the solo falls off the groove briefly: 00:24-00:25 especially and 01:01-01:02 but the 01:06-01:21 sounds so delicious I just get this smile on my face just from hearing it!
