I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the Textures recordings and the process of recording and mixing music is a continual learning curve. Realising that I'd learnt a lot in the three years since recording Textures, I went back to the master tracks and did my best to tweak the mix slightly. There's not much difference between this and the original except I tried to bring the lead instruments more to the fore and I put the resulting mix through some top-of-the-range mastering software to give the overall mix more presence. I hope you enjoy it.
