I was quite excited when I heard this footage was being released and I must admit that this twin-DVD set has lived up to expectations. OK, this is essentially a bootleg being sold commercially, but if you love the Double Trio incarnation of the band, you will love this set.
I must admit that I’ve been looking forward to this since it was announced and it should be a nice antidote to all those Rush albums I’ve been listening to. I never thought that DGM would release this concert on DVD – the audio yes – so I am really quite interested to see this footage. It captures the band doing their first live show as the double trio and although I have some awful scratchy footage in my archive, I am sure that this is going to be a great find for the hardcore Crimso fan.
Another day, another remaster from King Crimson. This time we head into the 1980s and hear just how good the band sounds in 5.1 surround.
I have been recording cover versions on and off since 2005 but they were more for my own entertainment than anything else. Whilst recording “The Luckiest Man in the World” I decided to record more of these covers in order to improve my own songwriting skills. Some of these recordings were already featured in my podcast but here I present them individually for your enjoyment.
