Prog Review 179 – Ziggy Stardust – David Bowie

You can buy your own copy of this album here:http://bit.ly/ziggystardustalbum

My quest looking for concept album leads me to this early attempt at a concept album by that young there Mr Bowie.

Seeing as the 06 October 2012 (when this was recorded) is the 40th anniversary of the release of Foxtrot, I thought it apt to do a Prog Review of it. Hopefully you will enjoy it and the look at the two CD versions I have of this album, which are shown.

Prog Review 128: Octopus – Gentle Giant

There have been many requests for me to turn my attention to Gentle Giant – and here it is. Enjoy the spectacular!

Prog Review 124: Close to the Edge – Yes

You can buy your copy of this record from here: http://bit.ly/closetotheedge

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of this album, I thought I’d do my best job of rambling through another shambolic episode of Prog Review.

Prog Review 68: Yessongs 40th Anniversary Special Edition Blu-ray – Yes

OEG has released a new Blu-ray release of the classic Yes 1972 Rainbow footage “Yessongs”. This time around the footage has been restored from the original 16mm negatives and a surround sound remix has been done of the soundtrack. Limited to a release of 3000 units, this has to be the ultimate version of “Yessongs” and comes complete with a 60 minute interview with Steve Howe, Chris Squire and Roger Dean as well as Steve Howe’s short promotional film for his album “Beginnings”.
